JULY/AUGUST 2025 INCOMING JUNIORS: ● Keep notes on your phone calls, emails from college coaches ● Check in every month with your ACC advisor and discuss updates ● Develop a list of “core questions” to use when talking to college coaches…Questions that check your boxes!!! ● Practice your responses to questions from coaches ● As you create a list of schools, go to their website, and see if the school has any virtual tours that you can look at to decide if that may or may not be a good fit for you (It is not the same as in person, but can give you a decent idea of the school) ● Let your club coach know what your summer goals are and the names of the schools you are most interested in. Share with your coach the kind of times you will need to get on their radar ● GET SOME REST BECAUSE YOU WILL NEED IT THIS FALL WITH SCHOOL STARTING UP AND COLLEGE VISITS ● IF possible, see if your family can take you to visit some schools to get a feel for size, distance from home, etc |
