Doug Fonder: President/CEO ISCA

Wisconsin native Doug Fonder has left his imprint on competitive swimming for more than 50 years. Fonder has developed several international and national swimmers including Jeff Rouse (2 time Olympian/gold medalist). He was honored as a two-time YMCA National Swim Coach of the Year and Virginia Coach of the Year 10 times.

John B. Waldman: John, a renowned leader and visionary in competitive swimming instruction, founded Fluid Mechanics in 1987. He is a former world-ranked swimmer in college and a world record-holder in masters swimming. Waldman was mentored throughout his career by Dr. James (Doc) E. Counsilman – widely considered by many to be the most successful coach/sports scientist of all time.
